Shares of Strayer Education (STRA) moved higher in morning trading and then continued its uptrend through the afternoon, ending the day on strong volume. The stock closed just off of its intraday high, up $11.95 at $223.95.
With the more than 5% gain, the stock reversed its recent downtrend to set a new high for the year.
