Cirrus Logic (CRUS) jumped more than 25% on Thursday after the company reported first quarter results. The stock gapped open higher and rose sharply through the first 30 minutes of the day. While the stock pared some if its gain in the afternoon, it still closed up $1.23 at $6.06 on heavy volume.
With the gain, the stock crossed its 50-day and 200-day moving averages to set a monthly closing high.
