Monday, CGI Group Inc. (GIB), a provider of information and technology, and Vodafone Group Plc. (VOD), a telecommunications carrier, announced new sales and service partnership, wherein Vodafone's customers will be offered end-to-end mobility solutions as a one-stop shop through this network of providers.
CGI stated that new partnership with Vodafone would offer mobile business solutions through a joint approach in addition to a range of services, including consulting, process analysis, product selection and implementation and systems integration.
Agnes Hombrecher, Vice-President of CGI's operations in Germany said: "This new initiative with our long-time partner Vodafone offers customers a single point of contact for all their mobile business solution needs with clearly measurable benefits."
The company said the new partnership is an extension of an initiative launched by Vodafone in June 2007 to secure more expansive network of leading IT service providers for Vodafone in Germany.
GIB closed Friday's regular trading session at $10.87 per share.
