RAM Holdings Ltd. (RAMR) said it appointed Lloyd Porter, chief risk officer and executive vice president of PMI Group Inc. (PMI), to succeed Bradley Shuster as director.
Prior to assuming the role of chief risk officer, Porter managed PMI's non-US mortgage insurance activities in Australia, Europe, Hong Kong, and Canada.
RAM Holdings's chief executive officer and president, Vernon Endo, said, "We are delighted to have Tony join our Board. His broad mortgage and risk management experience will augment our existing capabilities."
RAMR closed Monday's regular trade at $0.73, up $0.09 or 14.06%, on a volume of 93 thousand shares.
