Craig Morgan Speaks On American Sniper Controversy

Craig Morgan has opened up about his views on the controversy surrounding Bradley Cooper's current film America Sniper. Various celebrities have spoken out against the film, claiming that it glamorizes a class of soldiers that are dishonorable because of their fighting style.

Morgan, an Army veteran, spoke about the film's dissent during an interview on America's Morning Show:

"I believe that we do have the right to speak our mind, and that's the pleasure and the luxury and the blessing of living in the United States of America — a country that men and women have died for to ensure that we can speak our mind. But just because you have the right to say something doesn't necessarily make it right, and I'm just tired of it."

Morgan added that he was especially put off by the comments, because the film's main character, Navy Seal Chris Kyle, is dead.

"I have a problem with people talking about people who have passed," he says.

"They're gone, you're not accomplishing anything by making a negative remark about someone who's gone, especially someone who served his country."
