Weezer and Alice In Chains are among a slate of new musicians whose songs will be included in the upcoming new video game Guitar Hero Live.

Weezer's "Buddy Holly" and AIC's "Stone" are two of the latest songs to be added to the game.

Alt-J, Ed Sheeran, The Black Keys, the Killers, Green Day, Fall Out Boy, The War On Drugs, Rolling Stones and Skrillex, Catfish And The Bottlemen, Deap Vally, Queen, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Rise Against, Tenacious D and others have also been added.

"It's been 10 years since the first Guitar Hero game came out," Jamie Jackson of FreeStyle said of the game's music choices. "When you think of it like that, and think about how much the musical landscape has changed since then - that's where we've been able to explore some new types of musical style as well. Guitar music is broader than it's ever been - so we're reflecting that in the range of music on offer."

The game is set to be released this fall.
