Diddy has been arrested for allegedly getting into a fight with a football coach at UCLA, where his son is a defensive back.

A rep from UCLA confirmed to Fox News that Combs was arrested on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon, which was a kettlebell. Los Angeles police later updated the charges to three counts of assault with a deadly weapon, one count of making terrorist threats and one count of battery.

An assistant coach was screaming at Justin on the field at the UCLA athletic facility. Diddy reportedly confronted the coach and put his hands on him, and was subsequently arrested for assault. A source connected with Diddy says he initially wanted to call police, but the phone was taken away from him.

A representative for Combs' company said the hip-hop mogul was defending himself in the fight.

"The various accounts of the event and charges that are being reported are wholly inaccurate," Nathalie Moar, a rep for Combs Enterprises, said in a statement. "What we can say now is that any actions taken by Mr. Combs were solely defensive in nature to protect himself and his son."

Jail records showed that Combs was released after posting bail. The records showed that Combs' bail was $160,000, but sheriff's officials reached by phone said he posted $50,000.
