Tenet Healthcare Corp. (THC) said it reached a three-year agreement with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida, a provider of health insurance products. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. The agreement will enable members of Blue Cross and Blue Shield to continue to receive care at Tenet facilities.
The agreement covers Tenet's 10 acute care hospitals in Florida and includes all commercial and Medicare products offered by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida including Health Options, Network Blue, Preferred Provider Contract, Preferred Hospital System, Workers Compensation and Advantage 65.
