After trading flat for the first 70 minutes of Thursday's session, Avigen Inc. (AVGN) climbed to a range that held for the rest of the day.
The stock closed at $4.12 up $0.63 from Wednesday.
The advance came on strong volume and took the stock to its highest level since early February.
