Wednesday, Wegener Corp. (WGNR) said it received a $2.1 million equipment order from Dial Global, Triton Radio's sales and programming division, for Wegener iPump 6420 audio media servers and network products. The company noted that the order was booked during its fourth quarter of fiscal 2008 and will ship over the first three quarters of its fiscal 2009.
The company said its file-based broadcasting solution combines the efficiencies of large network operations with the delivery of localized content with the ability to pre-position local advertising and station promotions.
