The Australian dollar extended its recent strong rally against the European common currency in early New York trading on Monday. The Aussie advanced to 1.9071 against the euro by 9:25 am ET, the highest level since November 12, 2008. A resistance level of 1.89 is seen for the Aussie in near-term, if it jumps further. The euro-aussie pair, which closed Friday's deals at 1.9552, is currently worth 1.9083.
