Shares of Tekelec (TKLC) gapped up Wednesday and climbed during the first half of the session. The stock settled into a range in the afternoon and closed higher by $0.74 at $18.31.
Tekelec has been rising for the last week and closed Wednesday at its second consecutive new high for the year.
