Alexion Pharmaceuticals (ALXN) posted early gains Friday and climbed throughout the second half of the morning. Shares rose further late in the afternoon and closed higher by $2.22 at $43.20.
Alexion Pharmaceuticals broke out of nearly a 2-month range Friday and closed at nearly an 11-month high. The company reported better than expected second quarter earnings Thursday morning.
