Lattice Semiconductor Corp. (LSCC), Thursday said it lifted its third quarter revenue forecast and now expects revenue to be flat compared to the prior outlook, with variation expected in the range of minus 2% to 3%.
Looking ahead to the third quarter, the Hillsboro, Oregon-based company said it now expects revenue to be approximately flat to up 3% sequentially. Previous forecast projected revenue in the range of minus 2% to plus 3% on a sequential basis.
Third quarter guidance includes reduction in revenue of approximately $2.0 million due to transitioning certain distributors from the sell-in to the sell-through business model.
Gross margin percentage for the third quarter is expected to be in the range of 52% to 54% of revenue, which is unchanged from the prior forecast.
Total operating expenses are now expected to be at $30.2 million, including $2.2 million of restructuring charges. Previous indicated operating expenses of approximately $29.2 million, with 1.2 million in restructuring charges.
LSCC closed Thursday's regular trading at $2.60, up $0.06 or 2.36%, on a volume of 0.52 million shares. In after-hours, the stock further gained $0.06 or 2.36%, to trade at $2.60.
