Engineered products company Esterline Corp. (ESL), Monday named Bradley Lawrence its Chief Executive Officer, effective November 1, 2009, while inducting him as a member of the board of directors. Lawrence succeeds Robert Cremin who will continue as non-executive chairman of the board of directors through early 2011.
Bellevue, Washington-based Esterline credited Lawrence with over 40 years of manufacturing and technology experience, having served the company as its President and Chief Operating Officer. He had also been Esterline Group's Vice President and held various management and executive roles related to sales, marketing and operations with Rockwell International, Paccar, Conductive Rubber Technology, Flow International and PRI Automation.
Earlier this year, Lawrence was appointed President and Chief Operating Officer of the company. As Vice President of Esterline Group, Lawrence was responsible in overseeing more than a dozen of Esterline's business units.
His tenure also included five years of service with Esterline's Advanced Input operation as its President with additional responsibility in managing Esterline's Interface Technologies business platform, which encompasses three technology companies.
ESL closed Monday's trading at 37.89, up $0.01 or 0.03% on a volume of 0.148 million shares on the NYSE.
