Patriot Coal Corp. (PCX) gapped down slightly Monday, but climbed until the middle of the morning. Shares rose further in the final 2 hours of the afternoon and closed higher by $2.22 at $12.42 on above average volume.
Patriot Coal Corp. rose above a month and a half long range Monday and closed at a 10-month high.
