Fomento Económico Mexicano (FMX) dipped slightly in early trade Thursday, but settled into a narrow range for the majority of the session. The stock broke out sharply to the upside in the final 45 minutes of the afternoon and closed higher by $6.35 at $44.40 on the highest volume of the year.
Fomento Económico Mexicano surged past the upper end of a one-month trading range Thursday and closed at a new high for the year.
