FormFactor, Inc. (FORM) said the Delaware Bankruptcy Court approved FormFactor's acquisition of intellectual property rights and certain technology assets of Electroglas, Inc. related to precision motion control automation.
Mario Ruscev, chief executive officer of FormFactor, said the technologies being acquired are the product of significant investment in the research and development of high accuracy motion control. With these new capabilities, FormFactor will continue to improve its manufacturing efficiency and provide its customers with even higher quality end products, he added.
