Thursday, Trimble Navigation Ltd. (TRMB) announced that Linfox Logistics selected Trimble as its Mobile Resource Management or MRM solution provider. Telstra and a Trimble reseller and business partner, facilitated the selection. Linfox will begin using Trimble's GeoManager solution to manage over 2,000 vehicles within its expanding mobile workforce, the company added.
Linfox selected Trimble to help improve customer service, enhance driver safety, reduce operating costs, and better manage greenhouse gas emissions, Trimble stated.
"The GeoManager solution will allow us to continue to improve our high standards for customer service, vehicle performance and driver safety," commented Shane Falkiner, compliance manager Asia Pacific, Linfox.
