The Medicines Company (MDCO) said that it has filed lawsuits against Teva Parenteral Medicines, Inc., Pliva Hrvatska d.o.o. and APP Pharmaceuticals, LLC, and related entities, alleging patent infringement based on Abbreviated New Drug Applications seeking U.S. FDA approval to market and sell generic versions of the company's Angiomax product prior to patent expiration.
The lawsuit was filed in the District Court of Delaware. The patent was issued to The Medicines Company on September 1, 2009.
