ITT Corp. (ITT) rose sharply during the first half hour of trade Tuesday, but settled into a range for the remainder of the session. The stock closed higher by $1.63 at $53.06 on the highest volume in over 10 months.
ITT Corp. climbed above nearly a 2-month trading range Tuesday and set a new high for the year.
