InterOil Corp. (IOC) announced Wednesday morning that drill stem test #1 in the Antelope-2 well in Papua New Guinea, tested natural gas and condensate at a rate of 14.1 million cubic feet of gas per day with 16.5 barrels of condensate per million cubic feet.
InterOil Corp. climbed sharply in the first hour of trade Wednesday and finished up by $4.35 at $49.67 on above average volume. The stock has been gaining ground for the last week and a half and set its second consecutive new high for the year.
