Sical Logistics said that it signed an agreement with Japanese Mitsui O.S.K Lines (MOL) to form a joint venture company . The company said that it will hold 45% and MOL will hold 55% equity and will operate the automotives management yard at Ennore Port near Chennai. Operations are scheduled to commence in the fiscal 2010-11.
The proposed joint venture will combine the expertise of MOL in global automotives transportation and yard management with Sical competencies in multimodal integrated logistics and terminal operations.
