ITT Corp. (ITT) announced after the bell Friday that it was awarded a $19.3 million delivery order from the U.S. Army's Research Development & Engineering Command Acquisition Center under the OMNI VII contract for AN/PVS-14 night vision monocular devices.
ITT Corp. gapped up Monday and rose sharply during the first half hour of trade. The stock was range-bound for the remainder of the day and closed higher by $2.17 at $56.63. ITT has been rising for the last 2 weeks and set a new 52-week high.
