Wednesday, Lam Research Corp. (LRCX) reported first-quarter net income of $16.8 million or $0.13 per share, compared to net income of $8.9 million or $0.07 per share in the same quarter last year.
For the quarter the company reported ongoing net income of $4.2 million or $0.03 per share.
Revenue for the quarter was $318.5 million, down from $440.4 million in the comparable quarter last year. Analysts expected the company to report revenue of $287.52 million for the quarter.
