Wednesday, Fidelity National Information Services Inc. (FIS) reported third-quarter net income attributable to FIS of $67.6 million or $0.35 per share, compared to net income of $43.6 million or $0.23 per share in the same quarter last year.
On a non-GAAP basis, net income increased 12.2% to $0.46 per share from $0.41 per share in the year ago quarter.
On average, 15 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.47 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
Consolidated revenue for the quarter was $850.7 million, down 3.8% from $884.0 million in the comparable quarter last year. Analysts expected the company to report revenue of $869.61 million for the quarter.
