J. Crew Group (JCG) increased its third quarter EPS guidance to between $0.54 and $0.59 Thursday morning, from prior expectations of $0.30 to $0.33. The consensus estimate is for EPS of $0.36.
J. Crew Group gapped up sharply Thursday and rose further around mid-afternoon. Shares closed up by $5.75 at $43.49 on the highest volume in over 4 months. The stock climbed above a 2-week range and set a new high for the year.
