Morgan Stanley (MS) climbed for the bulk of Thursday morning and rose further throughout the final 2 hours of the afternoon. The stock closed higher by $1.66 at $35.74.
Morgan Stanley has been rising for the last 2 1/2 weeks and finished Thursday at a new high for the year. The company reported third quarter earnings Wednesday morning, which came in above the consensus estimate.
