Dabur India announced that the consolidated net profit for the second quarter ended September 30,2009 grew to Rs.139.14 crore from Rs.107.82 crore in the same quarter last year. Total income rose to Rs.858.76 crore from Rs.705.66 crore in the year ago quarter.
On a standalone basis, the company's net profit for the second quarter ended September 30,2009 increased to Rs.119.09 crore from Rs.106.96 crore in the year ago quarter. Total income was up at Rs.678.06 crore from Rs.594.12 crore in the same quarter prior year.
