Tuesday, Cytec Industries Inc. (CYT) appointed William Wood as President of its Engineered Materials business. Wood will become a member of Cytec's Executive Leadership Team, effective immediately. Wood succeeds Steven Speak who has elected to retire after a transition period.
Wood was previously Vice President of Commercial operations for the Engineered Materials business responsible for sales, technical services and program management since 2007. Prior to that he held several general manager roles for Engineered Materials in the U.S. and Europe.
Cytec Industries Inc., a specialty chemicals and materials company, engages in the development, manufacture, and sale of chemical products. It operates in four segments: Cytec Performance Chemicals, Cytec Surface Specialties, Cytec Engineered Materials, and Building Block Chemicals.
