Wednesday, BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. (BMRN) reported third-quarter net income of $6.6 million or $0.06 per share, up from $0.8 million or $0.01 per share a year ago. Non-GAAP net income increased to $15.5 million or $0.13 per share from $8.2 million or $0.08 per share.
Revenue increased 11% to $80.8 million for the quarter. Analysts expected earnings of $0.01 per share on revenues of $81.92 million for the quarter.
For fiscal 2009, BioMarin adjusted its revenues revenue guidance to range between $313 million and $327 million from the previous guidance of $311 to $336 million. Analysts currently expect revenues of $324.77 million.
