Harman International Industries (HAR) reported a first quarter EPS loss of $0.05 after the close Thursday, compared to the consensus estimate of a loss of $0.23.
Harman International Industries gapped open sharply higher Friday and is now up 5.45 at $38.45. The stock has risen above a one-month range and has set a new high for the year.
