Continental Airlines, Inc. (CAL) said Friday that it will launch daily nonstop flights on Sunday, November 1, to three new destinations from its Houston hub at George Bush Intercontinental Airport: Frankfurt Airport, Washington Dulles International Airport and Edmonton International Airport.
Frankfurt joins London, Paris and Amsterdam as the fourth European city served nonstop by Continental from Houston. Continental also operates flights to Frankfurt, as well as two additional cities in Germany - Berlin and Hamburg - from its New York hub at Newark Liberty International Airport.
Edmonton is the 11th Canadian destination served by Continental and the fourth served from the Houston hub. Other nonstop destinations in Canada from Houston are Calgary, Toronto and Vancouver.
