Wednesday, Quanta Services Inc. (PWR) reported third-quarter net income attributable to common stock of $63.4 million or $0.32 per share, compared to $51.9 million or $0.28 per diluted share in the same quarter last year.
On an adjusted basis, earnings was $0.25 per share, down from $0.32 per share in the prior year quarter.

Revenues for the quarter were $780.8 million, down from $1.05 billion in the comparable quarter last year. Analysts expected the company to report revenue of $857.82 million for the quarter.
Looking ahead to the fourth quarter, the company expects revenues in the range of $900 million - $950 million with earnings in the range of $0.16 - $0.17 per share. On an adjusted basis, earnings are expected to be in the range of $0.26 - $0.27 per share. Analysts currently anticipate the company to earn $0.21 per share with revenue of $907.53 million for the quarter.
