DaVita Inc. (DVA) reported third quarter EPS of $1.06 after the close Tuesday, which beat the consensus estimate of $0.99.
DaVita Inc. gapped up Wednesday and rose sharply in early trade. Shares settled into a range for the majority of the session and closed higher by $3.53 at $57.93 on the highest volume in 9 months. The stock re-crossed its 50-day moving average and set a new high for the year.
