Shares of Automatic Data Processing (ADP) rose steadily throughout the first hour of trade Thursday. The stock climbed further during the later portion of the afternoon and finished up by $1.44 at $42.24.
Automatic Data Processing rose above a 3-week trading range Thursday and closed at a new high for the year.
