Carter's Inc. Is Falling On Restatement News

Carter's Inc. (CRI) announced after the close Monday that it will restate its financial statements for certain prior periods and does not expect to timely file its quarterly report on Form 10-Q for the period ended October 3, 2009.

Carter's Inc. gapped down sharply Tuesday and has since declined on above average volume. Shares are now down 3.02 at $21.02. The stock has fallen below its 200-day moving average and is now testing support, trading at over a 5-month low.
