Progressive Corp. (PGR) reported that its net income for the month of October was $106.7 million or $0.16 per share, compared to $145.0 million or $0.22 per share in the same month last year.
Net premiums written for the month was $1.30 billion, up from $1.259 billion in the year ago quarter. Net premiums earned for the quarter were $1.329 billion, compared to $1.316 billion in the year ago month.
