Regeneron Pharmaceuticals (REGN) and Sanofi-aventis (SNY) announced after the close Tuesday that they entered into agreements to expand and extend their existing global collaboration to discover, develop, and commercialize fully-human therapeutic monoclonal antibodies.
Regeneron Pharmaceuticals gapped up sharply Wednesday and has continued to rise in early trade. Shares are now up 2.54 at $18.34. The stock has climbed to a 3-week high and has re-crossed its 200-day moving average.
