Shares of China Yuchai International (CYD) rose sharply during the first half hour of trade Wednesday. The stock traded in a narrow range for the remainder of the session and closed higher by $1.40 at $15.60 on the highest volume of the year.
China Yuchai International has been gaining ground for over a week and closed Wednesday at its second consecutive new high for the year.
