Enerplus Resources Fund (ERF, ERF_U.TO) announced that its third-quarter net income was C$38.18 million, down from C$465.77 million in the year ago quarter. On a per share basis, net income was C$0.23, compared to C$2.82 in the year ago quarter. Cash Flow from operating activities for the quarter declined to C$207.21 million, from C$383.57 million in the year ago quarter.
For the nine-month period, net income was C$86.40 million, down from C$699.40 million in the year ago period. On a per share basis, net income was C$0.52, down from C$4.40 in the prior year period. Cash Flow from operating activities for the period decreased to C$587.21 million, from C$1.00 billion in the comparable period last year.
