Advanced Micro Devices Broke Out To New High For Year Thursday

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and Intel Corp. (INTC) announced a comprehensive agreement Thursday morning, to end all outstanding legal disputes between the companies, including antitrust litigation and patent cross license disputes.

Advanced Micro Devices gapped up sharply Thursday, but traded in a narrow range throughout the session. Shares finished up by $1.16 at $6.48 on the highest volume of the year. The stock broke out to a new high for the year.
