Shares of Tyco International Ltd. (TYC) traded to the upside throughout the first half of Friday's session, but was range-bound for the remainder of the day. The stock closed higher by $0.93 at $36.50.
Tyco International broke out of a one-month trading range Friday and closed at a new high for the year.
