Harris Corp. (HRS), an international communications and information technology company, said that it has acquired privately held Patriot Technologies LLC. Patriot, which has about 100 employees, is a provider of Department of Veterans Affairs healthcare IT, imaging, and enterprise software solutions. Patriot will become part of the Harris Healthcare Solutions business unit, led by Jim Traficant, vice president.
