Peet's Coffee & Tea (PEET) climbed during the first half hour of trade Monday and advanced further in the final 90 minutes of the afternoon. Shares finished up by $2.63 at $41.58.
Peet's Coffee & Tea has been rising since late October, following the company's third quarter earnings release. The gains have been accompanied by a sharp increase in trading volume. The stock closed Monday at a new high for the year.
