Northrop Grumman Gets Defense Occupational And Environmental Health Readiness System Maintenance Contract - Quick Facts

Northrop Grumman Corp. (NOC) said it was awarded a follow-on contract for maintenance support to the U.S. Department of Defense's Web-based occupational and environmental health information system that will enhance the collection and evaluation of industrial hygiene and environmental health data in the workplaces of military and civilian defense personnel.

The follow-on contract is valued at $14.5 million over one base year and two, one-year option periods.

The company noted that its Information Systems sector will conduct maintenance services to ensure the Web, mobile, theater and data warehouse capabilities of Defense Occupational and Environmental Health Readiness System, or DOEHRS, are available to the U.S. Department of Defense Military Health System user community.

Further, the company would provide technical and analytical expertise for the acquisition of hardware and software to support DOEHRS. The company will also conduct software maintenance and troubleshooting for application and database servers.

Work on the contract will be conducted in Herndon, Va.
