India's food price index increased 14.55% as on week ended November 7, faster than the 10.07% growth in the corresponding week of the previous year, a report by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry said on Thursday.
At the same time, fuel price index dropped 1.51%, compared to a 7.20% increase a year ago..
The wholesale price index or WPI rose 1.34% year-on-year in October, faster than the 0.5% in September . A year earlier, the WPI inflation was 1.06%.
