BMC Software Forms Strategic Alliance With Salesforce.com To Deliver BMC's IT Management Solutions On Force.com Platform

BMC Software Inc. (BMC) said that it has formed a strategic alliance with salesforce.com (CRM) to deliver BMC's IT management solutions on the Force.com platform.

The initial joint offering addresses the customer demand for critical service desk function and processes delivered via the cloud.

BMC Service Desk Express on Force.com is currently scheduled to be available in the second quarter of calendar year 2010. Pricing details will be available when the product is generally available. BMC and salesforce.com intend to co-market and co-sell the solution.
