Donaldson Company (DCI) reported first quarter EPS of $0.45 after the bell Wednesday, which beat the consensus estimate of $0.34. The company expects to report full year 2010 EPS of $1.75 to $1.95, which is above the consensus estimate of $1.45.
Donaldson Company gapped up sharply Thursday and climbed in early trade, before settling into a range. Shares finished up by $3.27 at $44.73 on the highest volume in over 11 months. The stock has been rising for the last 2 1/2 weeks and set a new high for the year.
