DSW Inc. (DSW) reported third quarter EPS of $0.60 Tuesday morning, up from the $0.30 posted in the prior year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.46. The company also increased its full year EPS guidance to between $0.90 and $1.00, from prior expectations of $0.70 to $0.80.
DSW Inc. gapped up Tuesday morning, but traded in a range for the bulk of the session. Shares closed higher by $2.17 at $22.71 on above average volume. DSW broke out of a 5-week trading range and set a new high for the year.
